Who among us has not been bitten at some time by one of the following annoyances – pop-ups taking over your PC and wasting your precious time, spam email, spyware (stuff somebody snuck into your PC that generates the pop-ups and tells others all about you and what you are doing and what your interests are), and worms and viruses (stuff that gets into your computer and destroys your files and your software)? For what this may be worth, I have found the following sites to be helpful:

I suggest you visit them. At the very least, these sites will help you to learn about who your enemies are. The more you know about these “people”, even if they don’t deserve to be called people, the more able you will be to defend yourself and frustrate them and their efforts to make your life miserable.
