So far I've answered most of the questions asked.my computer isn't working properly.which is expected considering I've replaced the mother board.I'll need .save some stuff across to a backup drive I have.then I'll need to format.and re install lots of programs and drivers.and the endless Internet updates.on a dial up connection.I'll leave it until this weekend - and I must contact magic.

started copying files over.and starting the format.I've saved some unanswered questions.which I'll answer as soon as I'm fully up and running again.probably Monday.

Ohh what fun .this is what's happened over the last month.my mother board died.I replaced it.the replacement died.the shop I got it from needed to send it away for inspection.I purchased another mother board.I did format my hard drive.but because I'm running different file allocation tables FAT 32 vs NTFS 1 is used for Windows 98.the other for XP.because of a dual boot system I was running.on a hard drive I'd partitioned.I accidentally formatted the wrong drive.destroyed five years of work.my collection of viruses.used to test anti virus software.my collection of spyware. and all of my passwords and identification for accessing the sites I've created.email accounts. all of the questions asked of me. everything.and all of my art.and 3D models it took me ages to create.and it wasn't an ordinary format.it was an unconditional format.the most destructive format possible.but data can be recovered.even form a format c:/u .but it's not easy or fast.meticulous going through clusters of data.sorting out the good form the bad.trying to save as much as possible.anyway I'm still sorting through what I've managed to salvage.at the same time of course.I believe one of my sites has time expired.I'll need to give what time I have to getting it back up and running.

But it's not all bad.with some generous donations of old computer parts.and the mother boards.and other bits and pieces I had scattered around.(must tidy up some time) I now have 2 computers.although working with a 14in monitor on one of them is quite annoying

But I have my first test computer. yipeeee no more endless formatting of my main computer.

I'll do what I can over the next week or so to catch up with myself.and answer the questions I managed to recover.while checking I haven't already answered them. :-)

Without the bitter the sweet wouldn't taste sweet--- I'm looking forward to some very sweet computer related times ahead -)

12/9/06 I,m back I just became apathetic for while quite a long while I suppose,answering the same questions just did me in,but now I've found a nice friendly forum to shoulder some of the burden giving me more enthusiasm we'll see how this goes
