So your stuck and you can't decide whether to keep or remove this program ?

first you need to ask yourself some questions.are you capable of updating software over the Internet by yourself ?.

And how essential are these updates ? if it's anti virus software. regular updates are essential.but if the anti virus program your using uses backweb.I'd suggest changing it.there are free anti virus programs available through links from this site.( the reason I suggest this is because of the conflicts between backweb and some anti spyware programs.)

Non essential updates.does your say your joystick or keyboard or Digital camera require weekly driver updates? ( probably not.most drivers for such things only need updating if there's a significant change in the operating. if its working.the drives are probably fine)

The ultimate test.Contact the makers of backweb .it's their program on your machine. ask them about their program.query them about your technical problems.

And when you don't get a satisfactory reply. and you won't ( somebody anybody tell me this company sent you more than an automated we've received your email response so I can amend this) I'd strongly suggest you uninstall it
